Description
Spread out upon 2.39 acres of land in Bangsar South is the upcoming South Link development of serviced apartments. It is a commercial titled development that sits on freehold land, and has an anticipated completion date in the year 2021. There will be only 1 block in the development, that will house 1422 units within a 52-storey tower. The units here will range between 450 sq ft and 1,141 sq ft.
The smallest units will be studio units that are sized between 450 sq ft and 553 sq ft, which 176 units will be offered. It is expected that the majority of the South Link buyers will be bachelors or investors, as Type B which comprises 786 units are sized between 491 sq ft and 639 sq ft with 1+1 bedrooms. The 2-bedrooms units are the second most in supply with 220 units sized between 583 sq ft and 919 sq ft, while the 2+1 bedrooms comprising Types D and F are sized between 723 sq ft and 859 sq ft with a total of 196 units. Type E comprises the largest units sized between 823 sq ft and 1,141 sq ft, each housing 3 bedrooms with 44 units.

While some may find the density to be daunting, UOA has solved this problem by separating the tower into the low zone and high zone. The low zone comprises levels 9 to 24A which will be served by 5+1 lifts, and the high zone levels 25 to 52 with 6+1 lifts.
One of South Link’s biggest selling points is that it is 70% furnished upon completion. The kitchen will be fitted with hood and hob, the living room and bedrooms with air-conditioners and the bathrooms water heaters. And also, what you see is what you get – both the show unit and the actual unit will have the same type and colour of laminated wood flooring.
Location
South Link is an upcoming high rise located in a neighbourhood of UOA developments. Surrounded by high rises and new projects, South Link is accessible via several highways. On one end of the road is the Federal Highway, and on the other is the New Pantai Expressway (NPE) that connects to the SPRINT Highway and the new DUKE 3 highway. Via these highways, getting to both Subang and Kelana Jaya takes only 20 minutes under clear traffic and Bandar Utama 15 minutes in clear traffic conditions.
In terms of public transportation, Bangsar South also enjoys some of the best with the University LRT Station that is connected to the KL Gateway shopping mall and Kerinchi LRT station that is connected to the Horizon boutique office towers. And a major plus point for the South Link serviced residence is that it will have a direct link bridge to the University LRT station upon its completion.
Driving around the area, residents will be hard pressed to not find any form of amenity within a 5-kilometre range. Mid Valley megamall is only 5 minutes down the Federal Highway, and Bangsar is only 15 minutes away. And about the same distance away by either private or public transportation is Nu Sentral – the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) shopping mall.
Close to home are also many medical facilities, with both the Pantai Hospital and University Malaya Specialist Centre about 10 minutes away. And also in the area are many institutions of education in form of the Brickfield Asia College (BAC), MAHSA College and Malaysia’s leading university University Malaya.
